As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please review the official 2026-2027 Chastang-Fournier K-8 Uniform Policy to ensure your student is ready for success on the first day of school!
📚 Grade-Level Uniform Requirements
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
🔹 Shirts: Dark Navy polo/golf-style shirt (3-button, short or long sleeve, no logo)
🔹 Girls: Tan/Khaki uniform pants, skirts, jumpers, skorts, or knee-length walking shorts (1st & 4th quarters only)
🔹 Boys: Tan/Khaki uniform pants or knee-length walking shorts (1st & 4th quarters only)
6th & 7th Grade
🔹 Shirts: Burgundy polo/golf-style shirt (3-button, short or long sleeve, no logo)
🔹 Pants: Tan/Khaki uniform pants only
🚫 No shorts or skirts
8th Grade

✔️ Shirts must be tucked in at all times

✔️ Earrings only; facial piercings are not permitted
✔️ Clothing may not contain offensive wording, images, or symbols

🚌 Take-In: 7:05 AM
🔔 Tardy Bell: 7:35 AM
🏫 Dismissal: 2:20 PM
🎒 Additional Important Information
🔹 All students will receive one clear bookbag with school supplies.
🔹 All bookbags must be clear.
📱 Electronic Device Policy
Chastang-Fournier K-8 is a YONDR POUCH SCHOOL for the 2026-2027 school year. There is a $25.00 fee for the YONDR Pouches.
🚫 Cell phones, earbuds, headphones, smart watches, smart glasses, and tablets are prohibited during the school day.
Devices must be powered off and secured in YONDR pouches daily.
Consequences for violations:
• 1st Offense – Device confiscated; parent pickup required on Mondays at 3:30 PM
• 2nd Offense – Student assigned to Retract
• 3rd Offense – Suspension
If a Yondr Pouch is not purchased, the student will be unable to have a device at school.

We are moving to a brand-new, user-friendly platform called PowerSchool Enrollment to make the process easier than ever for our families. Whether your child is a returning student or joining the MCPSS family for the first time, all parents and guardians must complete this process.
📝 What You Need to Know:
Existing Families: No need to create a new account! Use your current MyPowerHub email and password to log in.
Where to Register: Access the portal starting May 1 through the MCPSS app or our official website.
Proofs of Residence: You will need to submit two (2) acceptable proofs dated within 100 days of the first day of school (May 1 – August 10, 2026).
